If you want to add more cameras, use higher resolution cameras or increase retention periods the Rasilient PS3000 is the product for you. The PS3000 is a 2U/12 bay SBB based enclosure and is very simple to expand. It starts at as little as 12TB and can grow up to 120 TB. This is accomplished by using fast and affordable 12 Gb/s SAS technology to daisy chain up to 4 PS100e expansion enclosures. Its capacity and scalability makes it perfect for the all mid size to large video surveillance storage needs.

High Performance

Video frame loss due to slow and out of date NVR/DVR storage is wide spread today. If the NVR/DVR cannot store the video frames fast enough, it will simply throw the video frame away. Since alerts are not typically issued, you do not know frame loss has occurred until it is too late.

Rasilient products are optimized for Video Surveillance applications. This optimization eliminates video frame loss while supporting hundreds of cameras. Rasilient accomplishes this with its patent pending PixelStor Advanced Caching Algorithms specifically tuned and optimized for the video surveillance work load. Because of our advanced caching algorithm the write performance is an incredible 4x faster than the typical NVR/DVR internal storage while using cost effective SATAII hard drives. Rasilient gives you the peace of mind that your video is not overwhelming your storage and video is not being lost.

The PS3000 storage system is built around high performance multi-core Intel processors, fast DDR2 memory and high performance 64 bit PixelStor OS. The PS3000 offers high bandwidth with base model connectivity starting at 3 GbE ports and 6 in the HA model. Both models offer IP network fault tolerance.

High Availability

Disk drive failure is the number one cause of lost video storage and downtime. The PS3000 provides RAID 5 and 6 which eliminates the loss of video due to a disk failure. Typically; in 12 disk drive system only 1 drive is needed for data protection. If NVR provides protection at all, it only offers RAID 0 which doubles the number of drives (24) to provide mirrored protection. The PS3000 offers a global sparing. Any drives not in use is used as global hot spares. If a drive fails, the PixelStor controller will automatically rebuild its data on the spare drive without requiring intervention by the administrator. The rebuild operation occurs in the background while the PS3000 continues to store video and modulates the rebuild speed based on the amount of video being stored ensuring no new incoming video will be lost. Video always has priority.

PS3000 offers fully redundant models. Any fan, power supply, controller or disk drive fails, the system will recover from the failure without down time. It adds market-leading, high availability features like active-active controller failover, 72 hour battery-backed cache protection and full redundancy and serviceability for controllers, power supplies, fans and hard drives. Every major component is hot swappable without interruption in service or loss of data. Its sophisticated mirrored and path failover capabilities give the PS3000 best-in-class system fault tolerance. The PS3000 only uses the highest quality enterprise class hard drives. This significantly improves the reliability of the storage systems.
